Rosemary isn't just a kitchen herb. It's rich in natural compounds like rosmarinic acid and carnosic acid, both studied for their antioxidant properties. A peer-reviewed study published in SKINmed (Panahi et al., 2015) found that participants using rosemary showed significant improvement in hair appearance over six months, and reported less scalp itching than the comparison group. Consistent use is what makes the difference.
If your hair feels dry and straw-like after washing, sulfates are probably the culprit. This shampoo uses sodium cocoyl isethionate, a coconut-derived cleanser that's one of the gentlest available. It removes dirt and buildup without taking the natural oils your hair needs to look healthy. The tradeoff: less foam. Less foam doesn't mean less clean.
An itchy, irritated scalp makes everything worse. The Panahi et al. (2015) study found the rosemary group reported significantly less scalp itching than the comparison group. Combined with a sulfate-free formula that doesn't strip or irritate, your scalp should start feeling more comfortable within the first few washes.
The conditioner is built around castor oil and maracuja oil. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid known for its moisturizing and protective coating properties. Maracuja is naturally high in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that helps nourish hair. Together they seal moisture in without leaving residue or weighing your hair down.

Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water so the shampoo distributes evenly across your scalp.
Apply a small amount to your scalp and massage gently with your fingertips for 30-60 seconds. You'll notice a fresh rosemary scent as you work it in.
Rinse the shampoo out completely with warm water. Make sure no product remains on your scalp before conditioning.
Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends. Leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse with cool water to seal in moisture.
